Storytelling
I transform research from brands and institutions like Nesta and the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) from dense text into visual journeys. By weaving illustrations and graphic elements throughout documents, I create natural entry points that invite engagement and make complex concepts accessible. This strategic approach converts academic findings into narratives that readers can follow, understand, and remember—turning what could be overwhelming information into coherent stories with clear takeaways.
X and Why
For Ticketmaster's Nexus service's year-long research project, I tackled the challenge of presenting extensive data to time-pressed audiences. The design prioritises immediate comprehension, using visual hierarchy to spotlight the most critical findings in each section. I created data visualisations that answer both the "what" and the "why" at a glance, ensuring that even readers who skim capture the essential insights. This approach acknowledges modern reading habits while protecting the integrity of complex information—making the report's value evident within seconds of engagement.
Icons & Illustrations
During my time at Ticketmaster, I established a strategic illustration system that transformed the brand's visual communication. By developing a comprehensive illustration guideline and custom icon library, I created a flexible design language that could seamlessly adapt across marketing materials, digital platforms, and partnership initiatives. The approach ensured visual consistency while providing creative teams with the tools to communicate Ticketmaster's new brand personality through dynamic, engaging graphics.
