Project Overview

At Ticketmaster, I played a pivotal role in the design and launch of the B2B website, a critical touchpoint for prospective clients and a key sales channel for the company. This website, designed in collaboration with an external agency, was a significant project due to its broad impact and importance. It was translated and rolled out into 33 countries, making it a crucial tool for our global B2B marketing efforts.

Role and Responsibilities

As the sole in-house designer responsible for the delivery of this project, I managed the agency partnership and coordinated with stakeholders across various departments. My role involved ensuring the design was on-brand, functional, and effectively met the needs of our diverse audience. Key responsibilities included:

Managing the Agency:

  • Coordinating with the external agency to align on design concepts, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Providing detailed feedback and direction to ensure the design met Ticketmaster's standards and objectives.

Page and Component Design:

  • Designed various pages and components, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly layout.

Figma File Management:

  • Organized Figma files systematically, facilitating easy access and collaboration for all team members.

Design System Integration:

  • Added new components to our existing design system, maintaining consistency and improving efficiency in the design process.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Working closely with stakeholders from marketing, sales, and IT to gather requirements and incorporate their feedback into the design process.
  • Ensuring the website addressed the needs of different departments and facilitated seamless communication and operations.

Brand Adherence:

  • Ensured all design elements adhered strictly to Ticketmaster's brand guidelines, promoting a unified brand identity across the website.

Quality Assurance:

  • Conducted regular reviews and iterations to refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing.

Collaboration and Feedback:

  • Worked closely with developers to implement designs accurately, providing clear specifications and guidance.
